One of the first things we look at when a new member starts training with us is how their body responds to training. Not everyone builds muscle the same way. Not everyone loses fat at the same speed. A big part of that comes down to your natural body type—also called somatotypes. I’m not here to slap a label on you and call it a day. Most people are a mix. But understanding your dominant tendencies helps explain why certain programs or diets worked (or didn’t) for you in the past. It also lets us train smarter instead of just harder.
