As everyone in the gym has seen, many of my clients love the kicking part of their workout. One client lost a considerable amount of weight and had a body transformation by just kicking several times a week. How does kicking and HIIT relate and what is HIIT.

HIIT stands for high intensity interval training and help in increased residual fat lost while resting. Kicking also greatly helps with balance, core strength, flexibility, coordination, stamina, self confidence, with a little self defense thrown in. As with any other skill it requires a progressive process so it is done correctly without injury.

There are 16 basic kicks and hundreds of combinations, 2,3,4 kicks done in sequence. Some people are afraid to kick, some find it too aggressive, but give it a try sometime, you might like it.

SAFETY TIP–most people don’t carry guns or knives to defend themselves and it is not necessary, just look around you and identify WEAPONS OF OPPORTUNITY, they are always there and available.

In the meantime stay safe and healthy
